The repetition isn’t a typo.
“I wait for the Lord. My soul waits. I hope in his word. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.” — Psalm 130:5-6 (WEB)
The watchmen stood on the walls of ancient cities through the darkest hours — the 2am, 3am, 4am shift when the world was silent and the threats were invisible and the only job was to stay awake and watch for the first edge of light. They didn’t doubt the morning.
These live among our psalms for hopeful hearts — one psalm, one honest echo, every morning.
Quietly with you,
