Welcome to GodsPrompts. By visiting godsprompts.com (the “Site”), subscribing to our emails, purchasing a product, or using any of our content, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to our Refund Policy, set out in the “Refunds & Cancellations” section below.
1. Who We Are
GodsPrompts is an independently operated content website that takes one Psalm from the Bible each day and presents it as a “divine prompt” — a verse, an emotional echo, and a modern interpretation. The Site is provided by GodsPrompts, mailing address 15935 Whittier Blvd., Whittier, CA 90603, United States, and can be reached at admin@godsprompts.com. We are not a church, ministry, or religious organization. We’re a content site.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to use the Site only in ways that comply with applicable law; not to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data; not to interfere with the security or operation of the Site (no scraping, hacking, DDoS, malware); not to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with GodsPrompts; and not to use the Site to send spam, harass others, or distribute illegal or harmful content. We may block, restrict, or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property
The original writing on this Site — the emotional echoes, the modern interpretations, the curation, the design, the scripture-card artwork, and any associated branding (the “GodsPrompts” name, logo, and visual identity) — is owned by GodsPrompts and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may read, share links to, and personally use our content for spiritual reflection; quote short excerpts (one to three sentences) on social media or in personal communication, with attribution to GodsPrompts and a link to the source page; and print individual prompts for personal use. You may not, without our written permission, republish or repost our original written content or scripture-card artwork elsewhere, use our content for commercial purposes, create derivative works, or use our trademarks, logo, or brand identity.
Bible text. The Psalm verses we publish use the World English Bible (WEB) translation, which is in the public domain. Your content. If you send us a message, testimony, prayer request, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, anonymize, and publish it (e.g., as a testimonial), unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
4. Email Subscriptions
When you subscribe, you’ll receive a confirmation request and then the emails you signed up for at the address you provided. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of any email. We send email through Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — see our Privacy Policy. We don’t send promotional emails for third parties.
5. Payments, Products & Subscriptions
GodsPrompts sells digital products and a membership. All payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- One-time digital products (Scripture-art packs, printables, devotional PDFs, collections) are delivered digitally and immediately to the email you provide at checkout. Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars and may change at any time; the price you pay is the price shown when you buy.
- The Upper Room (membership) is a recurring subscription billed $9/month or $79/year through Stripe, renewing automatically until you cancel. Membership includes the members-only benefits described on the Upper Room page, which may evolve over time. We may adjust membership pricing or benefits with reasonable notice to active members; changes never affect the term you’ve already paid for.
- Your access. You’re responsible for keeping your access details and any members-only password confidential and for all activity under your access.
- Taxes. Applicable sales tax, if any, is calculated and shown at checkout.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
- One-time purchases. All sales are final on digital downloads. Because your files are delivered immediately and are yours to keep, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. If you hit a technical issue receiving your download, email admin@godsprompts.com within 48 hours of purchase and we’ll make it right.
- The Upper Room (subscription). Cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal or by emailing admin@godsprompts.com. On cancellation, your membership stays active through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and you keep any files you’ve already downloaded. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months, and annual memberships are not refunded for unused months.
- Discretionary refunds. We may issue a refund at our discretion in genuine error cases — duplicate charges, unauthorized purchases, accidental clicks. Email admin@godsprompts.com; decisions are case-by-case.
- Chargebacks. If you believe a charge is unauthorized, please contact us first at admin@godsprompts.com so we can resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in restrictions on future purchases.
7. No Religious or Professional Advice
GodsPrompts is content for personal reflection. We are not providing medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice, and we are not acting as your church, pastor, counselor, therapist, or spiritual advisor. We make no promise that any specific outcome will result from reading our content. If you’re in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional. In the U.S., dial 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site includes links to third-party services (Stripe for payments, Kit for email). We don’t control and aren’t responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Use them at your own risk.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GodsPrompts and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms, the Site, or any product will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GodsPrompts, its operators, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site or products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Changes; Governing Law; Severability; Entire Agreement
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or update these Terms at any time; material changes will be announced on the Site or by email, and continued use means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California. If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and GodsPrompts.
